My parents have done so much for me and given so much, if I don’t study hard I’ll be letting them down.

During class I mostly sit with Chinese people.
洛杉矶这个城市很好。最大的问题是我没有车。在洛杉矶没有车很不方便。 Luòshānjī zhège chéngshì hěn hǎo. Zuì dà de wèntí shì wǒ méiyǒu chē. Zài Luòshānjī méiyǒu chē hěn bù fāngbiàn. Los Angeles is really good. The biggest problem is that I don’t have a car. Not having a car in Los Angeles is really inconvenient.
我的一个中国朋友家里很有钱。他在洛杉矶有很贵的车，而且经常开车去玩。我觉得我不能那样天天玩。应该好好学习，回报我的父母。 Wǒ de yí gè Zhōngguó péngyou jiā lǐ hěn yǒu qián. Tā zài Luòshānjī yǒu hěn guì de chē, érqiě jīngcháng kāi chē qù wánr. Wǒ juédé wǒ bù néng nàyàng tiāntiān wánr. Yīnggāi hǎohao xuéxí, huíbào wǒ de fùmǔ. One of my Chinese friends is from a really rich family. He has a really expensive car in Los Angeles and often takes it to go and have fun. I think I can’t be like that, just having fun every day. I should study hard for the sake of my parents.
