我每天早上六点半起床。起床后去洗脸刷牙，然后穿上衣服。 Wǒ měi tiān zǎoshang liù diǎn bàn qǐchuáng. Qǐchuáng hòu qù xǐliǎn shuāyá, ránhòu chuānshang yīfu. I get up every morning at half-past six. After getting up I go to wash my face and brush my teeth, and then get dressed.
六点四十和我的朋友去操场运动一下，然后我们去食堂吃早饭。吃完了之后，我回宿舍拿书，然后去教室。 Liù diǎn sìshí hé wǒ de péngyou qù cāochǎng yùndòng yíxià, ránhòu wǒmen qù shítáng chī zǎofàn. Chīwánle zhīhòu, wǒ huí sùshè ná shū, ránhòu qù jiàoshì. At 6:40 I go to the sports field with my friends to get some exercise, and then we go to the dining hall to eat breakfast. After I’ve finished, I go back to the dormitory to pick up my books and go to the classroom.
我学的是英语。我们有口语课、阅读课、写作课、听力课，等等。我最喜欢英语口语课，因为我们上课的时候经常做游戏。大家觉得有趣。 Wǒ xué de shì Yīngyǔ. Wǒmen yǒu kǒuyǔ kè, yuèdú kè, xiězuò kè, tīnglì kè, děngděng. Wǒ zuì xǐhuān Yīngyǔ kǒuyǔ kè, yīnwèi wǒmen shàngkè de shíhou jīngcháng zuò yóuxì. Dàjiā juéde yǒuqù. I study English. We have speaking class, reading class, writing class, listening class, and so on. My favourite is English speaking class, because during class we often play games. We all think it’s good fun.

Wǒmen cóng zǎoshang bā diǎn shàng dào jiǔ diǎn wǔshí, ránhòu cóng shí diǎn shí fēn shàng dào shí’èr diǎn. Each period is one hour fifty minutes, including a ten minute break in the middle. We have class from 8 o’clock in the morning until 9:50, and then from 10:10 until 12 o’clock.
中午我们去食堂吃午饭。刚下课的时候人特别多，有时候要排队。我喜欢食堂，食堂的菜很便宜，而且我觉得比外面的更健康。 Zhōngwǔ wǒmen qù shítáng chī wǔfàn. Gāng xiàkè de shíhou rén tèbié duō, yǒu shíhou yào páiduì. Wǒ xǐhuān shítáng, shítáng de cài hěn piányi, érqiě wǒ juéde bǐ wàimian de gèng jiànkāng. At noon we go to the dining hall for lunch. Just after class it is very busy, sometimes we have to queue. I like the dining hall, the food is cheap. Also, I think it’s healthier than food outside the campus.
吃完午饭我们一般都回宿舍睡午觉，因为中午不睡的话下午太累，没办法好好上课。 Chīwán wǔfàn wǒmen yìbān dōu huí sùshè shuì wǔjiào, yīnwèi zhōngwǔ bú shuì dehuà xiàwǔ tài lèi, méi bànfǎ hǎohao shàngkè. After lunch we return to the dormitory to have a nap, because if I don’t have a sleep I’ll be too tired in the afternoon, and I won’t be able to concentrate properly in class.
下午继续上课，一直上到6点。我们不是每节都有课，有时候有会时间做其他的事情：比如，和朋友去逛街。 Xiàwǔ jìxù shàngkè, yìzhí shàng dào liù diǎn. Wǒmen bú shì měi jié dōu yǒu kè, yǒu shíhou huì yǒu shíjiān zuò qítā de shìqing: bǐrú, hé péngyou qù guàngjiē In the afternoon we continue with classes, right up until 6 o’clock. We don’t have a class during every period, sometimes we have time to do other things: for example, go with friends to window shop/hang out.
晚上吃完晚饭以后我一般去上自习，我会用这个时间做作业、复习、或者准备考试。 Wǎnshang chīwán wǎnfàn yǐhòu wǒ yìbān qù shàng zìxí, wǒ huì yòng zhège shíjiān zuò zuòyè, fùxí, huòzhě zhǔnbèi kǎoshì. In the evening after dinner I usually go to self-study. I use this time to do homework, do revision, or prepare for an exam.
回宿舍之后我经常上网。我最喜欢上淘宝买东西。 Huí sùshè zhīhòu wǒ jīngcháng shàngwǎng. Wǒ zuì xǐhuān shàng Táobǎo mǎi dōngxi. After returning to the dormitory I often go on the internet. I most enjoy buying things on Taobao.
10点半宿舍就熄灯了。熄灯后大家还是喜欢玩手机，一般快12点才睡觉。其实我觉得这样晚睡不好，早睡早起的习惯最好。 Shí diǎn bàn sùshè jiù xīdēng le. Xīdēng hòu dàjiā háishì xǐhuān wánr shǒujī, yìbān kuài shí’èr diǎn cái shuìjiào. Qíshí wǒ juéde zhèyang wǎnshuì bù hǎo, zǎoshuìzǎoqǐ de xíguàn zuì hǎo. At half-past ten it’s lights out in the dormitory. After lights out we still like to play with our phones; it’s usually 12 before we go to sleep. I actually think going to bed late like this is bad; the best habit is early to bed, early to rise.
